NEWBIE DOMAINER and Trendy terminology

Posted 03-31-2008 at 07:49 PM by ebalyna
I just started in this domain game thing. I came accross it last month while I was home sick for a week. It is quite addicting, not very different from day trading....

I find it a little hard to predict which names are going to be winners. Some names seem to be fantastic, yet they turn out to be mediocre....Hm!!

Also, there is the slang and trend factor, such as the "licious" trend going on right now. Everything is .....licious. So I bought some of those, but who really knows how well they'll perform and what their value will be estimated at?

Another slang/trend terminology is the YO...., like youflave, yomama etc.. Again, who knows where that trend will be in 2 years?

I cannot wait to learn more about this business. Patience and experience is key, I have a feeling.
