I think my eyeballs are bleeding
Well, here we are, week 3.
Nothing so good as my first week, but a slow and steady stream of nibbles. No bites yet.
I seem to have made a number of friends over on WickedFire... or at least, what passes for friends on WF (which is to say they don't call you a loser, and try to RickRoll you).
But yeah, after 3 weeks of staring at a computer screen for about 12 hours a day (let's not forget the time I do it home after all), I think I'm going blinder than if I just masturbated chronically.
Seriously, people complain about getting RSI or carpal tunnel (just buy a glove, you twonks), but there's nothing you can do about staring at a screen at a fixed distance away from you, and it totally destroys your eye site and ability to conecentrate.
As it is, I'm, actually typing this with my eyes closed to give myself some releif... You'll have to excuse the typos, althoug there shouldn't be too many, I'm a good touch typist.
At least it's a job where I'm left to my own devices, and about half of my time is spent on forums like this one, just getting to know people, and trying tofind out who has large hordes of domains tucked under their belts.
I still find it funny that people would willingly stick with parked domains when a) the Snowe Bill is going to make that a risky proposition, and b) cost per action advertising is worth more even in the medium term.
Ah well, people like to stick with what they know, and even though everyone is new the the domain game, bu it's very nature, people like to stick to old habits.
And now for the good news: I bought myself an Asus EEE this week. That's one computer where touch typing is just not possible. Seriously, it's like the keyboard was designed by and for other midget children.
The good thing is that I can't be distracted while using it, as it's not powerful enough to run fun things like games, or have a decent enough screen for movies.
