Money's only good if you can spend it

Posted 04-10-2008 at 10:28 PM by HarveyJ
So here I am, nearly 2 months into all of this from the Dark Side of Aff Marketing...

I've got some affiliates under me, they're happy enough, doing massive sales... But am I happy?

Truthfully, the answer is no.
You know why? Because money is really inconsequential when you don't have time to spend it on anything but bills and car repairs.

I started this work thinking it'd be great. I'd have more time to do the things I wanted to do, but it's actually...

Snowe Bill & Mini sites

Posted 04-02-2008 at 06:49 PM by HarveyJ
So ever since people got time to adjust to the looming Snowe Bill, I've noticed something that I can't help but find hilariously funny.

As we're aware, most domainers just park stuff, throw up some PPC rubbish, and wait until someone's willing to cough up enough dough to make that original $8 investment into an $8,000 return.

Frankly, the domaining industry wouldn't be in this position if it weren't for leeches like this, but that's another rant.

And now the game changes

Posted 03-25-2008 at 01:15 AM by HarveyJ
I was originally hired as a sales monkey...

Well, here we are, week 3.
Nothing so good as my first week, but a slow and steady stream of nibbles. No bites yet.

I seem to have made a number of friends over on WickedFire... or at least, what passes for friends on WF (which is to say they don't call you a loser, and try to RickRoll you).

But yeah, after 3 weeks of staring at a computer screen for about 12 hours a day (let's not forget the time I do it home after all), I think I'm going blinder than if I just masturbated...

So, we're now up to week 2 of this charade!

The lies! LIES!
Well, not really, but drama is always fun (why else is it still on school curriculums?)

So I've started working on a)My own landing pages aimed at very niche markets (that just happen to be worth a hell of a lot) and b)Getting people to sign up to the programs I currently work with, because I'll be earning money from any conversions that they do.

I'm trying to do this politely.
I'm not...
