Wordpress SEO Tips (1)

Every blogger these days swears by their SEO plugins. Good for them. Below i'll list a couple SEO must do tips (yourself) for those that know better than to install 3rd party poorly coded plugins of any kind (not that all are poorly coded, but why not take 30seconds to do it yourself?).

1- In the admin panel, go to options then select the permalinks tab. In the custom link structure tab add the following to give you sexy SE friendly blog post URL's;
2- Your damn title tags. People leave their title tags and that's just bad karma.
Edit the blog theme your using via your admin panel, select the header file, in the code you'll find;
now replace all that with the following;
Now see the text that says Replace this text with your blogs keyword infested main title in the above code? replace that with your blogs keyword infested main title...as if that was not clear enough right? That way your page titles will not remain the same, but reflect your blog posts title too in hopes of better ranking not only your main blog but each individual blog for diff keywords to scrape more traffic. woosh.

3- If you've done the simple 2 steps above, I promise you, your blog will start ranking better and scraping more traffic. oh and always make sure, if you remove the default text in your header and put a logo or design a logo in its place, make sure that it links back to your home page.
