I always see domains for sale on aftermarket websites like tdnam (linked to GoDaddy account) and see outrages prices on doains and people actually paying for them. I see no value in them. I always wonder why someone would pay $1,000+ for a domain name like ILikeToEatEggs.com (just a fake example) but people pay it.
Then I see good domains on these sites that are brandable and keword rich for like 40$.... That dont get offers at all.
I mean what is the value (true value of a domain name?)
My answer is 'who knows' I meen a name is important but look at google.com its worth truck loads and who would pay more than $500.00 for the name google if we had all never heard of it?
My point is even a good name can be worthless without being developed properly. I am going to do a test. I am going to buy a domain name that is so obserd to the eye that no one in their right mind would want it or want to even think about goingto the site... Then I am going to develope it and see what happens.
So here is the fun.. DNF members tell me some crazy names and I will register one of them and develope it and show you that any name can make money..
and i will make that domain worth over $1000.00 before its all said and done.
