I wonder how things have changed as of late.

Not much has changed with domaining practices. I did switch to GoDaddy because I couldn't afford Yahoo's rates. Looks like NetworkSolutions charged me an extra year on a dumb .fm site I bought, but it was a lesson learned, especially when I tried to transfer it to, well, anywhere.

Anyway I'm looking to be less of a domaining hayseed. I read Edwin John's domain guide on Clickbank and got what seem to be good insights, but when I mentioned them here they were politely challenged.
