Here’s the story on the domain – I picked it up on Enom after it dropped late in May. The revenue is really low but the unique hits were crazy high. I have some concerns about the validity of the numbers I was seeing (
see this link)… you can see that all of the queries on the parked page were “Sex” for the most part… I sent an email to SEDO asking them to research the unique visitor number and I am awaiting a response. Yesterday, I pointed the domain to my own web server and am tracking the traffic on my own (StatCounter and Google Analytics). I should have a good idea if the numbers on SEDO were valid in a few days or if there was some error. Based on the stats that are listed on SEDO (
see this link), I would have been getting an average of 250 uniques per day… at this point I’m not seeing those numbers yet… but I will let it sit for a few days and if it’s not tracking to what SEDO was telling me, I’m going to certainly want to know what the problem with their tracking system is. I definitely don’t want to be selling a domain with erroneous traffic stats.

Update 6/20/07 9 AM --- ok... it's about 18 hours into being up and running on my own web server and the traffic is definitely not up to the SEDO numbers (
see this link). However, the traffic isn't bad - I received about 50 uniques in 18 hours and the analysis shows that the referrers are all porn sites... here are a few examples:

I'll keep checking the analytics and post again shortly. I am definitely interested in getting a response from SEDO with some backing on the analytics that they were showing on the domain.
