Has Mac TM'ed this word? According to your PM the average payout for a name like this is 60-100 months. Anyone else care to explain to him why 24 months worth of revenue is top dollar? Apparently he needs this explained.

Yet if you type in www.itransmogrify.com your top links are ipod related (owned by mac). So your revenue is probably derived from handing Mac their traffic back to them. I think I do not understand the USA law,but I also know Apple if want to take this domain name for free,he will pay more than $10000 for law cases cost.

Considering myspace.com.cn and google.com.cn/.cn are no TM problem,I think it is no big issue to talk about the legal problem,especially ,I never thought it hurt/break the apple company benefit

I know the people over at Myspace, they're too concerned with trying to figure out how to monetize their traffic. Hence the overloaded blast of ads.

Google and myspace are not concerned with .com.cn, but I can tell you they're two different cases. The owners Trade marked "google" while myspace trade marked "Myspace.com". Type them in. There's a difference, myspace can't take the .net because they TM'ed the .com while any spelling of "Google" is up for a lawsuit.

Oh, and if they decided to TradeMark the name iTransmogrtify, Mac would just take the name and ICANN would ding you 100,000.

there are many bookmarklets ,and they are just some scriptcode

hehe,considering there are many such cases and itransmogrify is just one that is widely used ...no big issue.
