Just to let you guys know, I have had a number of serious sounding PM's regarding this, so presumably it is a useful domain.
I just added this part in case anyone was wondering why the thread had no replies.

I'm still a noob here really, so sorry if any of this is no good.
Basically, I have freebay.co.uk for sale, and since May this year (when I first started using it), it has achieved almost 12,000 uniques, which I assume is quite useful?
Unfortunately, (please bear in mind I had no plans to sell), I have done a little messing around with forwards, so in that period it has been freebay.co.uk, freebay-live.co.uk and is currently home.freebay.co.uk - hope that makes sense?
Also, if you enter the word 'Freebay' into Google, it comes in 1st place - it does for me anyway!
Here is a link to the stats;
http://www.home.freebay.co.uk/stats.htm
Because of the forwards, it does mean a little math to reach the grand total
:(
freebay-live.co.uk is a seperate domain, but I am of course happy to include it in any final price that may be reached.
I would appreciate offers if thats okay, I have no idea of its value, but hope it is fairly decent as I am selling due to a bit of a financial crisis, ideally I would keep and try to develop it further.
Thanks in advance,
Ezz
p.s. its hosted with 1 and 1, presumably quite easy to 'push'?

at first i thought, why will he lose it?.. then i visited the site....
You have a large legal issue waiting for you Ezzer.... change the site to something that doesn't infringe on EBAY!!!.... freebay.co.uk could be a legitimate site but not in it's current form!
Terry
Thanks Azooza.
Can I ask guys, what I am doing wrong here?
I have answered several PM's with further info as requested, but so far no one has made a single offer. Is the domain worthless, or am I being distanced for not supplying a BIN price?
Any guidance would be appreciated, I was kinda thinking that this was a great place to sell domains, but so far its not looking promising.
Thanks in anticipation of any help,
Ezz.
Price range and BIN normally helps.
aloha....
answering these questions would be helpful in selling. Where does the traffic come from? TYpe in? Search Engine? Have you paid for/done any advertising to build traffic. What is the cost of advertising? How much does it make/month.

Thanks for the tips guys, although I don't know if I can answer all the questions - I am a genuine amateur at this![]()
With regards price range, I am stumped. As I have said to a few people who have PM'd me, I often see on the boards what I consider to be a poor looking domain name having huge bids offered, followed by a great looking domain with zero replies?? It beats me i'm afraid.
All I would say is that if its only worth a couple of hundred dollars, I would not bother selling, if its worth say $2,500+, of course I would sell, given my current circumstances. (please believe that I am not being evasive, I am genuinely clueless on this one).
I have never paid for advertising, if you Google the word Freebay you will see lots of results (all behind freebay.co.uk  ), it seems to be entering the language.
With regards earnings, I would estimate $70 per month as an average - its difficult to say exactly as during the time that the stats cover, I received an Adsense suspension that lasted almost a month (please verify this in my previous posts) - I was innocent, someone I kinda know got a ban for invalid clicks, asked if they could share my account, I said no, then I got invalid clicks - everyone with me??!!
The site is not optimised, in fact its pretty hopeless, I am confident someone could turn it around to make some real $$$$.
Finally, may I just say that I don't think there will be any legal issues with the domain. As I have said, 'freebay' is slowly becoming a word, and there are lots of similarly named sites out there - in addition, I have owned the domain since 2002, (although for a long time it was not in use), never had any negative correspondence relating to it at all.
Hope this helps, thanks for your time, and sorry for not being very good at this

I'll offer £200 GBP
pending a reply to my PM regarding traffic.
Hi,
Sorry for not responding to your PM sooner, have just done so now.
Best offer so far by PM is £800GBP which equates to around 2 years Adsense income in its CURRENT VERY UNDERDEVELOPED state, surely it is worth more guys?
Its a good domain with noteworthy traffic, with some interesting content to encourage repeat and referral visits, it could do very, very well.
One of you must be able to do some good with this domain - it may be a .co.uk, but it appears higher on Google than all other 'Freebay' websites, that has to be good news??
Thanks for reading,
Ezz.
I will offer £400
This is now sold
