Think he means you are bringing the amount of traffic it gets to the TM holder's attention, who would then be more likely to come after you for the domain (and have more ammo for their WIPO claim). If they have no idea how much traffic the typo gets they would probably be less likely to come after you.
Not sure how much I agree with this, but I think that was his train of thought.
