UPDATE: the domain is not sold and is still available for purchase.

Merlin did not factor in the specifics of the type-in traffic associated with this domain name when we discussed this last night. He decided not to go forward with this deal as this was not in line with his current business strategy.

Empornium.com is thus still available and I will consider all reasonable offers.

FYI the 600-900 pure type-ins empornium.com gets daily are due to the existence of a very popular site on empornium.us. The OVT numbers speak for themselves including the huge popularity of the term "empornium":

I think this is a pretty good deal as when I seen this sale I was looking for a program to sign up for as I just bought an adult website name. After having a look at the program being used on this website I signed on and began using it.

As it turns or the only income this domain is really generating is from trial signups at 1.50 per pop. This is what they pay you when some one sends in their email address and gets a free trial password.

What this really means is this traffic is massively under utilized and should be able to be generating a 'LOT' more income if a lot of tweaking was done or a better converting program was used plus tweaking and adjustments were done to maximize content to what the traffic coming in wants to see and is willing to signup for. Website signups usually bring $40 to $55 a pop.

If I had the $$ I would have made an offer on this name. Good luck on the sale and to who ever ends up with the name.

^The domain industry is all smoke and mirrors. All the wannabe's want to appear larger than they truly are. All the minor to major big dogs? They keep their mouth shut. Instead of a public bid? It's pm bid, etc.

You get the point. This may or may not be the case.
