He's selling the domain only...because he probably sets up the same site on every name he registers one by one until they get indexed by Google and ranked, then takes the site off, said "wow, look at all this Turkish traffic" and attempts to sell the name. This section seems to be getting clogged with names that are 1,000+ uniques a day with 95+% of it being Turkish traffic that's really hard to monetize and that dies off because there's no longer a site. I apologize in advance to the admins for this, but seriously...this in my opinion is borderline attempting to scam people and I have to speak my mind about this because this section is going downhill. Horrible names that had sites on them are flooding this area and is driving this section into the gutter. No offense to Turkey or Turkish traffic or anything, but why is it that 2 or 3 members here seem to always be posting names with predominantly Turkish traffic from search engines?

site+domain for sale
big throw off, should be in Site Development Section!
His post does not suggest that he is selling only the domain name. As long as he is selling the site along with the domain I don't see a problem with that..
He is not lying about the traffic or anything, he posted accurate stats and then it is up to the buyer to decide if he wants to buy it or not. And regarding the traffic being hard to monetize, again, he did not say otherwise, he did mention that the site gets only $5 daily from 7K uniques...it's pretty obvious its hard to monetize. The bottom line is, there is nothing in his post suggesting that he has the intention to scam anyone...
I think that this comment was not called for... and again, sorry about quoting you NameTrader, nothing against you, on the contrary, I think you are one of the well respected members of this community.
Have to agree with Petros on this one.
For sale at fair prices: MensJewelry.com, Liana.com, Sleeve.com, InteriorDesignIdeas.com, TradingAccount.com
In general, they are only selling the domain name. In this case, he apparently wasn't and consequently was posting in the wrong area. Maybe I shouldn't have assumed he was selling only the domain name, but he DID post this in an area where it's traffic DOMAINS for sale, and every other time I've seen him and the other couple Turkish-traffic domain sellers posting in this section, it's been the domain only after taking the site off, with about 3 days worth of parking stats and asking less than a year's worth of revenue.
I do apologize if he was selling the site with it too and if all these 1 month old sites with thousands of Turkish SE hits a day are truly legitimate, but seriously...it seems like there's been at least a dozen of these domains that have been posted for sale here that magically have tons of SE traffic after a month of a site being up, ALWAYS Turkish traffic. I wouldn't have posted anything if it wasn't always the same kind of not-too-great domains with current or former Turkish video clip sites and tons of Turkish traffic...it's that trend that I've seen that makes me wonder about this and caused me to post.
Edit: Okay, they're not all video sites, but still...the trend I was talking about is in these threads:

Why that threads argue you? I dont understand you. Turkish traffic is not valuable for you but we can sell them. You have not to buy them or send comment about them. If you want, you buy, If you dont want, you dont buy![]()
I'm on Nametraders side with this one. Just because little information is mentioned on this sale it doesnt mean it isnt deceptive.
It should also be mentioned that Turkish traffic is banned on some parksites.
Someone needs to watch out for the newcomers here.
sedo has problems with turkish traffic sometimes

I'm not the one who bans the traffic. Its a good chunk of advertisers who do as a result of the ongoing fraud from Turkey in the PPC marketplace.
I wont speak in this thread about this anymore.

THANK YOU! glad to see im not the only one who is noticing this. I have seen more and more people posting these domains and they aren't getting type in traffic or anything..it's like you said; they throw a site up, put some links to it, get it indexed in google..then try to sell the domain. I also agree this is borderline scamming! Can't the mods do anything about this?
thanks nametrader for shedding some light on how these goofy domains generate revenue - i am newbie and am often scratching my head
