Lightbulb Looking for a partner for serious domain sale business - payout around $40,000

I looking for serious partner for domain sale business. I own (.com) domain that is exact name of one very strong company in one Europe country (they have website on (.cc) domain). The idea is that we develop certain website at that address and do our own business that probably that company could not tolerate.

    The business is absolutely legal.

I belive that we could get about $60,000 - $200,000 and maybe I`m wrong and we get much more.

So, I looking for individual with knowledge or company that have good web designer, SEO expert and good lawyer.

All interested can contact me via pm or via e-mail (soltonm@gmail.com) and please describe your way of end user domain sale and give me link of your company web site.

    Only serious offers please.

So you want to take your domain that is similar to an existing company and create a similar company/website in order to make them want to buy your domain?

Do you really think that is a good sale approach? I would want to give you a swift kick in the ass if I was that business. No offense of course

    Dear RicoShay,

the name we talk about is not registered TM in any country, so here we are all clear (even in their own country !!). Yes domain name can be interpreted as a generic name that consern all companies that practise that job. So website that we have to do is a classic Web Portal and include all similar companies in Europe but ofcourse not them.

That means I do not duplicate their job, and maybe that is not 100% ethical but I only doing my job, and my job is Internet, Websites, Domaining, Web Portals....

Worst thing I do is that I play a fool.

So I still seeking for SEO expert, web designer and lawyer so he can watch that I don`t do something ilegal.

    Best Regards,

    Solton

    thanks for advice RicoShay

Like I said, legal and 97% ethical business...

So you want to build a site on a .com domain of that company's name and try to sell it to them, is that correct?
Why would they be interested in buying it, especially at that price?
What's the point of building a site if you just want to sell them a domain?
What if they decide to sue you instead of paying you, which is the most likely option since attorney fees will be considerably lower?

If they are not buying the .com now, why would they buy it later at an inflated price ?

First of all I want to develop Web portal and get it at first place of Google search for certain keywords. Then I want to start earning some money from commercials, traffic and stuff...and just do my own business.

The point is that mentioned company would not be part of my Portal so they surely would want to buy my business, not just domain so they can remove all that from internet.

And you know how it is when you sell business

That is why price is so high. And remember, domain name can be interpreted as a generic name if Web portal is parked on it. And there is no any elements for sue because there is no any registered Trademark and stuff.

    1. Your plan is not thought out and really makes no sense.
    2. Your actually going to waste your time and money on building a site that you don't want to keep and on a lawyer on hopes that they will buy the domain? So what if they don't want it?
    3. You will be lucky if anyone wastes their time on this.

You would be better off putting your time and money on a project that is going to be profitable to you either by keeping it or selling it once its earning decently and not be a waste. Common sense.
