Re: .EU - Who got what?

I didnt even bother looking before it launched, i figure the .eu thing will end up burning out like .cc or whatever ( well not burning out but the hype wont live up to the pre-registration levels ) We will how they endup, i may well be proven wrong and eat my words

However today i had a bit of a browse to see what was available so i reged a few for the hell of saying i own a couple haha..

pokershark.eu
liveslut.eu
hotauctions.eu

Looks like there are still plenty of domains available to register as i just got those 3 by hand and i came across plenty of others.

Re: .EU - Who got what?

Slim pickins for post landrush.

With so many different languages in the eu I picked these up:

9876.eu

5432.eu

Re: .EU - Who got what?

Does anyone know of a way to do bulk availability searches on .EU yet? You know, paste in a list and see what's available? Or do you have to search manually, one at a time?

Re: .EU - Who got what?

A question :

All the short words of the industry , like gaming words, porn, etc, where taken previously of the opening ?
Or some lucky ones not ?

I'm talking about really premium ones, like "poker" , mobile , cars, etc...

agree
lol Guys... stop buying second tier names. Wait for at least one announced and verified major sale in the extension before going after them if you didn't get some first teirs.

Re: .EU - Who got what?

hmm so we should ignore the offers that are giving us an idea as to where the market is ..... and just kinda sit back and wait?

sorry for saying this..but that is simply.. not business wise. "risk" (and I use this term very losely) 15 bucks to wait when i already know im getting offers on lesser domains that exceed the cost to reg them?

Surely you jest.

My pardon, but I do not jest. I prepared my 1st teir and 2nd teir domains prior to the land rush and hand regged a few names afterwards. I'm not saying don' t take "risk" I'm just saying at this stage take a chance on a name only if you get "that burning itchy sensation" that Gold Bond couldn't help. Unless you have the money, no sense going stupid over an unproven domain extension. Though its tempted I understand. I've managed to limit myself to no more then 25 mostly first grade names and 2 names pending pool auction. But other then that its chillin mode right now. Any ways, Iw hich you all the best of luck.

Re: .EU - Who got what?

I've made a sale of EuropeDay.eu...

Sedo has multiple offers on .eu's.

I think that the people that didn't get names are just bitter.
