Re: .EU - Who got what?

At the end just got three .eu only. the only one I've developed a bit is:
http://ipinfo.eu

I really believe some guys spended too much money in names that will be really hard to sell... It's really nonsense, and it's better to focus in developing some of them.
Let's face it, all the good short names were taken before from sites as pool.com

Thumbs up Re: .EU - Who got what?

Hi,

Your domains seem fine, As for value , well your auction on ebay should give you an idea for a couple of the I ones.

Only trouble at the moment as far as I am aware you cant transfer eu domains just yet, maybe in another couple of weeks, dont know will that pose any problem to your sale on ebay.

As far as the eu domain itself , there is more registered at the moment than .biz , so its climbing the ladder, but looking at sedo half of the ones registered are up there!

I would suggest you hold onto your domains as in 2 years there could be a diamond in there somewhere.

I have voipdirectory.eu , what do you think of it??

Regards

Tommy

Re: .EU - Who got what?

It really gets me when people want 2500-3000$ for a 3CHAR .eu domain.
That is far, far away from being realistic. If I was taking that serious, how much should I take for KOA.eu then ???
(Only a rhetorical question...)

Re: .EU - Who got what?

KOA.eu is a 3 letters .eu domain, not 3 char. They are very overpriced at the moment. I would not pay more than $800 for that one.

Re: .EU - Who got what?

I am fully aware that the above name is a 3letter domain. This is what I had requested in a "domain wanted" thread, but instead I got silly offers of 3char.eu domains for the mentioned price.

Re: .EU - Who got what?

yes, sorry i misunderstood your post. After reading again I understand your question. The prices you received for the 3 char. .eu domains are far above the .com prices and therefore ridiculous.

Actually this starting price is not coming from nowhere.
Check here : http://www.adreu.eurid.eu/html/en/adr/fees/fees.pdf

If I where a biz abc and wanted the abc.eu I would prefer pay the seller 2-3k and get the domain for sure other than paying the same fees risking an ADR
to such short dn

Re: .EU - Who got what?

Yeap,
I fully agree, but you missed my point, it is ridiculous to demand 2-3k for a
three character domain. I certainly would not mind those prices for a three LETTER domain though.

Re: .EU - Who got what?

I link the bancaire.eu and some of the others.

Do wwwsomething domain names tend to pull much traffic? Do a significant enough minority of people forget to insert the '.' to make such domain names potentially valuable?
