EUROdns : yes, buyer beware

they will take domains out of your account prior to when they expire, and they are unreachable. Eurodns does not have a phone number like godaddy where you can talk to a human, humanoid or even an android.
they also charge double what many other registrars charge and many domainers are painstakingly letting names drop, however at the "luck" of eurodns.com who will definitely profit from these drops.
sincerely,
dr

I also had bad experience with them too. It tooks months to get email reply back from them in order to get an authcode to transfer a name out. Ridiculous.

I found that the following guy at Eurodns is helpful:

Nuno SOARES
nsoares@eurodns.com
+352 263725 - 713

He seems to be more on the same wavelength as us domainers than many staff there.

The company sucks. I'll never use them again.

Hi i orderd 2 .cm.br names it said they was free to register i also checked the whois i paid around $260 it turned out they was already registard and i have found out when i get my refund i will lose $30 because of the transaction service . I think a real refund is your money back and also eurodns's mistake saying a name was free . I waiting for my money back now .

Similar thing happened to me. I wrote a letter of complaint: They shouldn't expect me to pay a charge when they're the ones who made the mistake. They ignored my letter. Never got an answer. I didn't pay the charge. They only charge you if you get a refund. Instead, I registered names through them to cover the amount they were holding. Now that that's done, I'm through with them for good. I just hope I don't encounter a problem when I transfer the names to another registrar.

where is Eurodns? Don't they care to defend themselves?

They know the thread is here. It only took 30 mins after the OP posted.

Guess they're too busy counting and recounting their money. That's what I assumed they were doing when they didn't bother to respond to my email.

Eurodns messed up with our .com.asia regs too, but they were kind enough to give us a extra year for free. They're not the most organized registrar around, but in our case they admitted their mistake and gave us a little compensation.
