DNF$: 1 Location: San Francisco | What domain register do you use to keep your domains safe ? and why did you choose the register you did ? I'll start - Moniker because they offer privacy registration masking and domain transfers at reasonable prices while also protecting domain holders aginst frivilous TM suits |

| DNF Addict | I do not feel my names are safe anywhere. Its just a lease anyway. moniker is a good choice. They may request you transfer a TM domain to them, if they get a letter from the TM holder. Moniker will contact you if there's a problem, they do not give the TM holder your info. Godaddy just takes your names. privacy or not. and Godaddy's TDNAM doesn't allow you to put privacy on names won, until the name is in your account. but a little birdy told me soon you will be able to place privacy on names after winning them BEFORE they are added to your account. we'll see. I've heard overseas registrars like India don't even respond to TM letters from the US. but I do not speak the language so support can become an issue.

| Platinum Lifetime Member | It use to be Moniker, now mostly Dynadot. Great support, best interface in the industry, fair people, better pricing, they are the registrar for wikileaks.org. Internet.bs - based in the Bahamas (good if you have gambling domains), support is fast and friendly. Marco is a pretty stand up guy. Extremely cheap prices with amazing transfer-in rates. Full/Partial whois privacy for free. Namecheap - Still have some names here because they are a stand up company, just wish they wouldn't use enom. Fabulous - executive lock, although I'm worried that the crazy Australian government will do something even more ridiculous than they have been. I have accounts at and have tried or used: directnic domainit dotster dynadot enom fabulous gandi godaddy internet.bs moniker name.com/.net namecheap networksolutions pairnic resellerclub
