Ok here's a new one..
I have http://YourPosters.Com (just a test page)

for this script I want the small images to reside on my local server just as they are..but when you click the small image it places the full image in the center(enlarger)..then when you click that larger image you end up on my affilite site ..

you click on small Anna K image..large image of Anna K is placed in the viewer..click on large image and image link takes you http://www.art.com/asp/sp.asp?PD=10059899&RFID=329950

how do I accomplish that...

and I want to see how that would look vertical.. I want the small images vertical on the left side of the page ..

actually would be kind of cool to have a scrollable frames page in the middle of the page ! is that possible.. I dont think I have ever seen that? so that just about the middle of your page you would see all these small images you could preview..just keep scrolling.. and every time you click you get the full image just above the small image frames page.. the idea is you could put hundreds of images in the frames page ..as apposed to placing a hundred image on your front page and making everyone scroll down and down and down..

Would it make more sense to make a frames page? place the small images in a scrollable frame on the left side or middle page whatever and have the large image in the main static page..?

Need some direction on this

perhaps I amusing the wrong script maybe flash better ?

Pretty simple ..

go to http://YourPosters.com ..click on small image of anna K ..

It brings up the large image of anna k.. kno what I want to happenis ..I want people to click on that large image and be taken here..

how are you planning to add posters to the site???

and...

does it have to be javascript?

The posters are simply from an affiliate program.. in this case I am using an art.com affiliate link for the example http://www.art.com/asp/sp.asp?PD=10059899&RFID=329950

so instead of the java script looking on my server for the image files...it should follow the affiliate link..

except for the small images ..those I could have it grab locally..probably load faster correct ? ..hope I am using the correct terminology..

.I just seen this script and realized how I could work that into one of my poster sites.. just trying to tweak it so I can add the affiliate link.. instead of grabbing local images...

Dosent have to javavscript.. their must be an entirely faster easier way of accomplishing this and sounds like you have some directin for me ?
