Please could you explain what a parked or addon domain is?

As I understand it

a parked domain is a fancy name for an aliased domain.

and an addon domain is a sub-domain that can have a second level domain name aliased to it.

This setup is fine for domain name retailing, but no good for reselling or for multiple sites.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks domainpairs for explaining it. As I mentioned earlier, this is mainly for domain resellers. For each addon domain you will have traffic analysis tools, email etc...

For you wish to resell web hosting, we can arrange that. But this package will not work for it.
