    Adding header to wordpress

I know there are a million of you pros here for this. (where you at tony?)

Which file do I need to edit in wp to put in an image in the header location of my page. I would like an image instead of the what the default is, the name of your blog.

What are some of your favorite wp tweaking sites?

Exactly! Just make a backup (download the theme into a local directory and then copy it to a backup location) of the site before you start tinkering with the code, I've noticed that the wrong change in the wrong place can really mess up the site.

Or you can use or edit the style.css to put your new image.

I think it's easier to edit the CSS - you can see right at the top where it's pulling the image URL - just change it to the image you've uploaded. That way, if it doesn't work out, it's an easy fix to put it back the way it was.

If there is no url in the css and you don't know how to add it you should either change the header.php or just take a look at the nale of the header and upload the new one with the same name, then no code tweaking is requied
