Adsense sense, please. Clear up the confusion.
I have looked at adsense TOS.
I have looked at some other sites.
What constitutes allowable COMBINATIONS of adsense ads?
I was under the impression it was a maximum of 3 (text & image) ad blocks and 2 link ads (text links) blocks.

You are correct.
3 Ad units and 2 links
More ads doesn't necessarily mean more clicks, though.

Just wanted to be sure of the maximum, mainly because I know that is one way of getting banned.
Got some nice formats working out. Ads are formatted to appear in the body of the text (horizontal line of links) and do not become very intrusive.

It enforces it by not displaying additional ad units, even if you display the code.
