Adult site hosting

Anyone have recommendations or negative experiences of adult site hosts? I'm interested in launching a small site featuring TGP links and some affiliate advertising, so am considering a free host.

Am looking at LighteningHost.com (yes, that's how they spell it - http://www.lighteninghost.com/). It certainly looks okay for my needs, and as it is free, the price is perfect. Does this host ring anybody's chimes (or alarm bells)?

free adult hosts typically dont last too long. usually after a few months they close down and redirect all your traffic to their sponsor.

With free adult hosts, you never know... they MAY steal 10%-20%-...??% of your traffic, namely showing their own site to your visitors. With their banners, they would get a halp or more of possible clicks.
Better to pay for adult webspace from the very beginning. I know this from my own experience. Choose a payment plan with no fixed fees, just pay for traffic you use - approx. $1 per gigabyte. Not more! This is good price.
You may try http://www.hostonfly.com or http://www.cheapbw.com - both accept adult sites.

You might want to post in webhostingtalk.com I think the forum is web host requests., I have had good luck finding good priced hosts for adult and non-adult., Once you post you would have a number of replies within an hour or so.

I find it difficult to find great hosts. The problem with webhostingtalk.com is that most of its users are host resellers. Its hard to get real help there without being bombed with Hosting packages from resellers.

www.echolima.com is excellent, although not free but very cheap. I'm Hosting an adult site on their servers. You can get hosting there for about $9/month (no setup fee), and 350 MB of space. And they accept payments by PayPal

I recommend Tippy/Mike for Hosting. In my experience he is honest, reliable and generous.

Just ask some of the longer-standing members of this forum.

I have one site hosted with Mike so far, and intend to have several more under his care very soon.
