Shouldn't be legal at all. You are allowed to build anything you want as long as it isn't trademarked and area codes aren't. (They change too much). But I don't see any problems at all in that.

Are they good natural type-ins and anyone ever have a legal issue using an area code number as just that... an area code for a particular area...
I have a few .US and they reserved most of them but a few got thru..
I would like to build using them for the areas they represent but not certain if that would be a legal issue or not.
what do you think?

Thanks customb, that's what I would think also..but I am trying to sort out which Government agency has control over area codes ? FTC ? .. They can be a real pain if it is them..Originally posted by Customb

But then again..Government agencies take for every to make any decisions anyways.. I could use the domain for years before they ever get off their tails ..that is IF they would have a problem with it..probably wont anyway's
thanks for the response...
