Is it bad to sign up for an affiliate program...

and then click the link you set up to start using the services.

Like sign up affiliate program at expiredtraffic.com and then set up a link and use it to set up open an account at expiredtraffic.com.

or

Setup with amazon affiliate program. And buy everything at amazon through links from you site.

It may not be right to do it and i'm sure the affiliate company wouldn't be extremly happy but to put it to you straight, i think alot of us have done it at some point, even if it was not on purpose.

Not sure I understand the question properly but as a guide I would say:-

No problem in buying through your own link - after all the link is there in the hope of making sales - unless the terms of the affliate programme forbid it.

Clicking on your own links without sales is IMO not an honest and morally upright thing to do.

There is nothing wrong with signing up for an affiliate program and then use the affiliate program for your own purchases (hopefully that's what you mean)..

Actually, from what I have seen, most of the affiliates I have worked with ENCOURAGED it. Just check the terms. I am sure it would be fine. Hey, they are still making money, right?

Most allow it, but as a matter of fact, one that you mentioned, expiredtraffic.com, does not allow buying through your affiliate link.
