Which is the best FTP program for commercial sites?

For comercial sites - you mean for added security?

There are some security holes with a few old FTP programs, passwords can be stolen - but their are patches and updates.

Also there is TELNET and SSL (or is it SSH?) or added security.

I also like the CuteHTML that comes with CuteFTP - it does things that lots of larger editors can't do.

i use ACE FTP read my thread in the lounge .... HIGH SPEED 56K lol

that was a screenshot of me uploading to my webhost lol not bad for a 56k dialup lol

and the best one by far (IMO) is BulletProof FTP
the best free one is WS-FTP

If you are concerned about security, don't use FTP.

Use SSH

Go to SSH.com and download SSH Secure Shell. It works like an FTP program but is secure.

I think the commercial version of WS-FTP also allows SSH.

Ask your hosting provider if you can use SSH instead of FTP.
