Best Wordpress Theme Recommendations (Non-Blog Looking)

I would love to know everyone's thoughts on wordpress themes that are not blog-ish in appearance. Perhaps magazine or newspaper styled wordpress themes. Free is ideal, but premium wordpress themes are fine if they are excellent. Strong SEO is extremely important as well.

I am using Branford magazine and have been with a while for one of my sites. It's OK (I'm switching the site over to Joomla, though).

There are some good ones from newwpthemes but you have to suffer the link from the footer unless you know how to remove them (I do).

Just search any CMS theme.Try http://www.cmstheme.net/browse/WordPress ,http://carringtontheme.com/ ,or http://pagelines.com/ and such many others.

I've done the opposite - move from Joomla to WP.

Joomla is incredible to know and makes WP seem that much easier once in to WP.

draggar, why did you decide to move to Joomla?

WP is good for sites that get updated on a regular basis / articles.

Joomla (IMO) is better for static sites plus it also offers better control over the site.

Check at themeforest... There are some great magazine type themes there, for only 20-40$.

There's a great wordpress shop theme at elegantthemes.com by the way - really intuitive design - called estore.
