can dedicated server support multiple websites

I am thinking about getting a dedicated server fromrackshack.net, can their dedicated server support multiple websites?

sure they can - althou it would depend on the sizes of the websites you plan to put on the servers. If there just static html sites you can fill a P4 server with a few hundred websites.

If you are not sure what you are doing, I highly recommend rackspace. If they can make a dummy like me look competent, they can do it for anybody. You might pay a little more, but they are really excellent with customer service and worth every penny.

Oxen, I don't think the Apache webserver has a limit on the number of websites it can serve at once.

Of course you will be limited by disk space, processor speed and bandwidth, but most dedicated servers come with lot's of both, with the option to buy more as necessary.
