Which casino is the most honest to its affiliates?

The highest bid I’ve seen at Overture per click-through was $28.82 last month, for a gambling term (although in the article below an Overture spokesman said the bids can go up to $20 per click, whereas the average Overture bid is 24 cents).

That’s a huge amount of money, given there is no guarantee a surfer will actually signup and gamble on the site, but may leave it a few seconds after reaching the home page.
How then can casinos pay their affiliates - such as domain registrants who redirect highly targeted traffic to a casino sponsor - the equivalent of a few cents per visitor? (When you divide total earnings by visitors sent to a casino site).
IMO there is exceptionally heavy skimming of the stats and payouts to casino affiliates, almost as if the affiliates are subsidizing the high Overture payments.

Casinos make their money only by screwing their cusomers - so good luck to their clients - ie affiliates beware.

28 bucks seem weird. However, in my opinion the right gambling traffic is worth gold and I know this from personal experience.
2 bucks is maximum though (much too high even). Sure the bidding isn't for 100 clicks?

The only casino that seems unreliable that I've tried out (of about 6) is blackjack.com's they are strange.

I can recommend www.cj.com casinos, they are safe!

If that is per visitor I clearly need to do a remake of my site. I'm earning only a hundredth of that per visitor on a good day...

I forward 1 real player for appr. every 100 persons I send to a casino (People who click on a "play for real money" link on my site). That player earns me around $50 but can also earn me $1000. But on average maybe $100. The casino makes about 3 times that meaning $400. $400 divided by 100 is $4. Thats what I would guess one "real money" player interested guy should be worth.

The problem is "gambling online" searchers are not as interested as my "play for real money"-traffic and should be worth less. They could very well be searching for free games.

$28 bucks is just insane!!!!!!!

Yes it does seem insane, and I feel that the casinos are giving their affiliates a raw deal when you compare affiliate payouts to their Overture bids per single click. 'Gambling online' is now down to $11 per clickthrough, but even that's still crazy money.

Your average returns as mentioned above MarkyMark; is that with cj.com casinos? They don't look too bad to me.

Twenty something maybe the highest bid for casino related terms but the highest bidded term I have seen is "Conference Calls". First and second positions have been as high as $38 per click.

Just noticed something interesting about the firm that is paying probably the highest per click through rate on the Internet at $29.31. Notice it has the best generic domain name for the industry and so should be getting good type-ins, but it's still paying megabucks for traffic. What gives - any ideas?

Either they are not too bright or more likely their margins allow this type of advertising.

It is a competition, that term specifically has evidentally started a major bidding war between 3 or 4 firms that have pretty large bank rolls.

My guess is that there are a few firms in that industry that would really like to be the sole reason for the demise of certain competitors.

Like honest affiliate program ... they all cheat imho because of the webmasters that cheat them.

experienced gambling webmasters knows by now approximately what they can expect from a certain amount of traffic. Certainly the casinos want to be honest since there is competition. If they loose a big affiliate it is a disaster for them (could mean income loss of $100000 a month) but the affiliate can always find a new casino site to promote so the webmaster loss is much less.

Small time casinos can blow small time affiliates but thats all.

In what way can webmasters cheat casinos? Explain.

webmasters can cheat. . . it's done all the time. . . don't know how myself but the affiliates I've dealt with have talked about chargebacks, fake traffic and all sorts of things that they call cheating. I don't really know how it's done myself.

I don't think any of us on this board would fall into the class of a big affiliate who the casinos cant afford to lose. Maybe someday .

well, arranging chargebacks via fake creditcards or family/friends creditcards sounds like normal thievery, leading to prison in the end?? if thats what you are talking about. Wouldn't be too hard for the casino to show that chain of events. Windowscasino protects themselves against chargebacks by setting up a reserve to be paid out after 6 months (to the affiliate).

Second I believe that casinos wont discrimanate between DNF members (small time affiliates) and big affiliates by cheating us and not them... They run the same system for both, anything else is a myth. Besides, large affiliates always started small didn't they, seems like a bad move for the casinos to cheat small ones and scare them away until they grow big.

I doubt windows casino would want me to leave since I made them about $6000 in the last couple of months... (changed that figure since I got the rest...)
