Nice work. I'm not fond of the "font" you used, but it works. One thing hard to pick up is the slogan. Does it read, "Just the Best"??? Either my eyes are shot or you need to get the "rez" a little higher on that gif.

Also I would re-name the "gif" to "pet_shop_logo", for SE pickups.

Otherwise, like I said nice work!!

Looks good. I would change the color of the text to look more connected to the site itself. I think I would change the color of ".com" to the same color as the cats fur. And maybe change the color of "PetShop" to the same as the outside background(dark blue), and fool around with the border color to see how it looks.
