    Question Content Editors

What percent of active domainers (say, those who use multiple monetizers) are comfortable using HTML editors?

For web page content customization, which is the preferred tool? HTML, wiki, or text editor such as Word?

    Thanks!

NEVER Word. It's horrible for creating massive amounts of html artifacts.

    Thanks!

It is obviously easy if the site has built in HTML capabilities. Would it be must of a drawback of one were to format the text in an HTML editor, say, DreamWeaver, then cut and paste it into the customizable section.

Use content management systems. They are much more scalable than Dreamweaver.

Notepad and Frontpage. I use the latter because Im too lazy to type in the code.

Frontpage is great for adding tables too. Plus it was free, my favorite price.

notetab lite - free full featured text editor with every bit of html/xhtml/css/php code the average person would ever need. http://www.notetab.com/ntl.php

I probably use that single program more than any other.

Dreamweaver is great if you are doing anything special, using it to maintain a site, or need to do quick edits across a large number of files.

I'm surprised that so many people are using Notepad.

If you are going to write HTML/PHP/CSS/etc. by hand, try some of these free Notepad alternatives:
    http://www.htmlkit.com/
    http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm
    http://www.pspad.com/

If you don't mind spending $35, check out E Text Editor:

(the screencast is good and there is a free 30-day trial)

To manage a large number of documents, I highly recommend a content management system.

Drupal is good... You can just copy/paste your text into a Webform, hit "submit" and the page will be online.
