Develop a domain using blog or cms

    Hi friends

I'm trying to develop some of my domains. But the problem is I confuse what tool that I should use.

There are two option. Using blog (such as wordpress) or cms (such as joomla).
Both of them are great tools.

I'd like to hear your opinion about those tools. Please give me your explanation of advantages and disadvantages.

Thank you for sharing knowledge. I really appreciate it.

    regards

I'd suggest Wordpress, easier to setup and further maintance.

Web install wizard, you put some free theme, add some plugins and you're ready to go. All you have to do is post some text to make the weblog "fresh" and make visitors come back.

    Look for example my www.TheGuy.net

I always use wordpress...because i wanna setup things fast..but if you only plan to setup 1 site i would recommend joomla it is a vast cms with so many options to keep you awake and tweaking for weeks.

A CMS is more flexible, but only if you really want to put quite a bit of work into it.

For simple sites Wordpress is the better choice. The out of the box version lets you start entering content immediately and is preety well set up to attract search engines.

I suggest Wordpress as well. If you know what you're doing you don't need a CMS since wordpress is highly modifiable -- there are thousands of plugins, and what's not there you can do yourself (Since Worepress is written in PHP you can also modify it yourself or ask a coder to do it).... And did I mention that you can install it in 15 minutes and start posting news right then?
