Developing adult sites

all my sites have always been respectable but the prices of adult domain names and adult developed sites is tempting me to start an adult site to see how i do

can any other webmasters here give me some stories (hopefully success stories)

Maybe you can do some further search through the threads. I know you could provide some help to the poster. Doc

i have actually looked into it a bit

not got the domain name but ive looked at gallery scripts etc and ive read a lot of articles
i might have a look for that thread though

Hi Fonze.... which sort of site are you planning to develope? A tgp site? an avs site?. It depends on the kind of site you are thinking of.

I'm too just starting into the adult business. I launched my first adult website 2 weeks ago.

With adult sites development, just answer a few questions to yourself.
Are you going to charge members directly for your content? If so, you need both billing and content. There are adult webmaster solutions available for both parts. Content is the key. Common picture sets are not working well now, adult surfers are looking for leave cameras, live shows etc
You may also consider affiliate site. Something like a free site or TGP with links to your sponsor. Content is important, too. Some webmasters start with so-called "public domain" content (collected all over the net), but it is a source for possible legal problems. Try to choose affiliate program which pays % for the life of member. 50-60% is OK.
A few more moments:
Never use freehosts. This is not stable and they may steal your visitors and would get a large % of their clicks to banners.
Try to find a "niche", something special. Common "teen girls" are available everywhere, but what about "fat asian shemales" or something unusual? Those who need it - they would pay YOU only.
Never use images of ppl. before 18 y.o. or looking too young.
Never pay for "unlimited traffic" as your site would be slow.
Find payhosting charging ~$1 per gig, Traffic is very large issue at adult sites, but it is possible to find quality Hosting with modest prices like $1 or even less per gigabyte.
