I have decided to re-develop relax.net.
My idea is to develop a travel site, which focuses on wellness/golf/spa vacations. Further will I implement profiles where users can upload text, pics and videos of their vacation and rate and comment hotels etc.
Your feedback/idea regarding monetizing, features etc. is much appreciated!
Thanks,
Jonas

Take a look at tripadvisor.com as far as the reviews go. They have a great community and a lot of knowledge about specific places. I'd be modeling that.

Simon,
Your advice is much appreciated.
Exactly that idea I have in mind.
Just a few questions - I would like your opinions:
1. Should I focus on wellness, spa, golf, "exclusive" vacations or a "general" travel site? I think its easier to create a community if its a general travel site since the "exclusive" target group is probably 35+, which might not be as active as the age group 20-35!?
2. How much should I focus on profiles? I will probably develop a profile-feature with the ability to upload videos and pictures and reviews.
