Domain Names at Doory
work on only one website......give it 100% of your time, money and energy. choose a highly targetted niche. u'll have enough money to pay for the renewal of your other good domains.
combination of Publisher PPC and Affiliates, here is an example site I just now finished http://speeddating.me as an example
Best American made inflatable manufacturer in the USA. Contact me if you have Amusement or Inflatable niche names you want to monetize.
Don't start a project until you have the skills to back it up. You will either make a sh*t job or you will quit. Affiliate programs related to your niche are the best way to make money I think. You can't go wrong with a bit of AdSense, but don't give it too much attention as they don't pay that well.
www.musicdownloads.tv for sale, taking offers.
i've wrote up a few articles on my site on how to go about developing many domains and doing so properly.. without leaving any traces... no scrapped content on any bs.
the truth is, many domainers have accumulated portfolios with worthless keyword domains, that even if you do develop them properly and spend thousands of dollars on them, you will never actually turn them profitable.
you have to do research... lots of research. before you get into a project, you need to figure out about a hundred things and make up a plan and work in stages.
who said development was easy?? who said development is big money??? ha... sure, it is --- for certain projects... but you have to be realistic, if you never developed a website in your life... your chances aren't great at scoring big or scoring at all... and furthermore, if you don't have a good generic 2 - 3 keyword domain that actually makes sense to develop...... your chances go down even more.
educate yourself... learn by watching how others did it, what they did in order to succeed, etc. this doesn't cost anything, just requires you to invest your time in actually making sense of things... if you try to cut through corners, with made for adsense sites or services like evolanding or whypark --- you won't ever get anywhere.
I've been re-learning on the fly and while I don't have any domains that are making money hand over fist, I do have 4-5 that are paying fir their own renewal fees and a few other domains (this does not include business sites).
Sure, you can't take on a huge project in the beginning but there is help out there. My first project was a directory service and it took me months but I finally found several directory programs that helped me with it. Sure, it cost some money but it gave me a boost with the site.
Most of my sites right now are quite simple (the ones that are monetized) - Wordpress with a template and some Adsense. That's it. I normally put an Adsense window in the right bar and one on the bottom (I may start getting rid of this one, though). The sites that I've developed and keep updated are making enough to pay for their own renewal fees and then some (most of these domains were hand registered, some were bought though a backorder).

Increase revenue by increasing traffic and/or conversions.
Mike, you don't need a premium domain in order to develop. Although it helps.
Good development and marketing will turn a profit. That's a guarantee!
that is correct.
dkjf34950834908.com can be developed... also 4983484.mobi and dsf-48-blah-df.cn can be developed into some really nice sites too
instead of making work for yourself, a smart domainer/developer should do some research on the type of domain that is worth developing....... if you cannot determine what is good or bad, you really need to take a few steps back and start from the basics... start from a very non-competitive niche where there aren't any other domainers/developers currently ranking for any of the keywords that you would like to rank for on Google or Yahoo. this keywords may only bring in a few hundred visitors per month at most... maybe a few thousand if you get lucky or do tons of research and stumble upon a nice opportunity but really... you won't be making more than a hundred or two hundred bucks per month no matter what.
if you can consistently find good opportunities with potential... and develop properly.... you increase your chances of scoring big... the more sites you have, the more odds are in your favor... kind of like a lottery.

Focus on creating good content, or hire someone/buy good content. Use existing tools on the market to speed up the developing and saving time. Myth: content is king. Fact: only good content are. Most common mistake: stuffing the pages with ads from beginning when not having visitors. Develop first, money later.
