Hi!

I might be a bit late since you have already decided your direction (apart from the format), but I would like to add that a quick look at what most people search for alongside the terms difficulty and difficulties are related either to learning or health.

So I guess if you would want to cater to what gets most searches you would adjust your layout, site and business plan to those categories or one of them (health/medicine seems to get the largest number of searches).

I guess it is the usual question, choose a niche like health (or narrowing it down even further with looking also what kind of similar sites are available and finding a category where there is not so much help around) or go broad and do a general yahoo answers type of site.

In regards to your last question I personally enjoy the yahoo answers type better, but I have not good numbers indicating what people in general prefer.

Hope this was of help to you,
Markus

markus you are absolutely right, most of the searched are health & learning related. e.g "reading difficulties" . so i was thinking of going broad and then focus more on these categories.

Or should i just stick to one topic?? what do you think will value the site more..

Markus has a good point. Most people don't use the word "difficulties" when talking about a leak that needs fixing or a problem with their computer. It's generally used in connection with medical and educational conditions. I hear those medical ads on TV "Do you have difficulties climbing the stairs? Then StairClimber X is for you."

Congratulations on your new acquisition.

Stick to a niche from the health industry with high searches and high CPC as well as good commission from affiliates.

Research well, don't be in a hurry.

I agree, I like the "get rich in a niche approach". It has several advantages, it narrows down the target visitor/client making market, copywriting and design easier. If you have high ambitions with this great domain name I would go for becoming "top of the mind" in one of those industries, ie health or learning. godolphin has a good case I think with sticking with high search and high cpc. I would also weigh in the amount of competition in each.
If you do not do the niche approach, and still have high ambitions, you would have to go really broad and really big to include it all and get know as the place that has all the answers.
So, I would go for the niche.
