    DomainSponsor?

DomainSponsor is a pain in the butt as far as online help goes (is there any?). Anyway, can someone more experienced than I answer these questions?

    - how do I add names to them - do I have to click on "Add new site" for each name and then wait X business days for a reply?
    - if I choose Referer Detect Optimization, will that optimise each different domain name, even though there may be more than one?
    - can I customise pages at all?
    - any other answers you think are valuable from your experience

    Cheers

    Matt

Sorry you got no answers Matt. I have the same dilemma. Never used a PPC service before. Signed up with DS but I cannot find a thing anywhere on their website about how the service works!!

How do you add your domains? There must be some way to add domains and point them to DomainSponsor name servers, otherwise how will their pages ever come up when people type in your domain name?

There is an add new site function but it is like applying for membership all over again and it has no information on nameservers, so that would not appear to be it. I like mysteries as well as the next guy, but it's usually not a good idea to run a website that way.

While I'm waiting to find out what the secret is, I'll go ahead and sign up with DomainSpa.

Looks like I won't get any answers here either! No problem, thanks to HiOSilver. If any of you want to start out with DomainSponsor contact HiOSilver first! He will give you an affiliate link to DS and you can help him out that way for his advice (won't cost you anything). He knows all of the ins and outs (including some that are undocumented). There is no help on the DomainSponsor site, nor any instructions (one of the strangest things I've ever seen). A lot of the stuff you need is hidden, so having someone like Howard to show you the ropes is essential.

    Domainsponsor works well for me.
Here is the thinng you need to do.

    1. Change your name servers as

    ns1.mydomain.com
    ns2.mydomain.com
    ns3.mydomain.com
    ns4.mydomain.com

    2. go to www.mydomain.com

    - open an account
    - add your names to your list
    - click on a name and redirect them to DS code. Use cloaked forwarding and fill in appropriate meta tags for the domain. Use

    http://landing.domainsponsor.com/?a_...inname=dcf.com

Change 310 with your id # and dcf.com with your domain name.

You can get full code arranged to your id if you click on "get code" in DS web site.

    - Wait for 24 hours and its done.

Thanks SAF. Howard showed me an even easier way to do that does not require you to change your nameservers. You just redirect your domains to a DS landing page. Very simple and sets up in minutes. They offer a variety of ways to get things done - too bad they don't explain ANY of them on their site (at least in a location where people can find the info - it is there but is hidden with no instructions on how to find it)!

Yes, depending on your registrar there are other easy ways. Good luck.

For anyone who has not yet signed up, sign up at my site (see signature below) and I will give you my one-on-one tech support that DS does not seem to provide. It will cost you nothing, but DS will cut me in on their share for the referral.

After you sign up, send me an email.

Once you learn a few tricks, DS can be easy. They offer a lot of options and very little explanation.
