Well fine than. I always thought mike 031 is dutch guy (031 countrycode holland) I am pretty sure he is. The reason he is hiding is prouberbly the tax office.

I pay my dutch income tax 52% , + VAT 19% , and still I live in >1million$ (paid, not valuated) villa, and drive sports car.

the reason I can pay tax and live luxery, is because I spend > 150k on a webproject (only 1) and not 1k on some indian style thingy, with affilatate marketing bla bla

but ok, see it yourself.

dummy.com ( = yummie) sounds for me as great oppertunity to start a brand new business + brand, if you spend a good amount of money on development

raoul actually has a million dollar idea... i would jump all over it if i were you.

edit: on second thought, only start it if you think you can do better than www.dummies.com

IMO, all the other ideas here are crap. if you are going to spend money developing on a 5 digit domain, do it well.

Do you have any idea how much some of the good satirical sites/blogs make??

IMO this is the perfect domain for such a site... You could elicit a ton of user contribution, voting, caption that picture, etc...

The kind of stuff that is awesome for SEO as well as retention...

And to build a site like that is so easy and cheap with the existing open source CMS' that exist today...

That market is extremely saturated. Plus, have you seen what the domains for the most popular sites in that niche are? They are literally all junk, since the site is itself a compilation of garbage anyways. It would be a complete waste to use a domain of this caliber for a site like that.

Put up a single adsense for search form and see what they're searching for. Then throw up some ads and get rich.

They search for a lot of stuff, including "which programs are for sunday school". This is what they searched for yesterday.

I would have a How To Fix it Site. Not too sure about the Dummies trademark.

Yeah, I feel dumb at times, add my name to your blog.

Pacifier = Dummy here in UK. Would make a great brandable name for a baby website/shop.

This little chap thinks it's a great idea... http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/200...EX_468x474.jpg

If you haven't already tried, try parking it with keyword 'electronics' (or 'consumer electronics' 'wholesale electronics') and see how it performs.
