I would do a blog that would have the feature "Dummy of the day" ...
Post some funny stuff about a dummy each day, range from celebrities to politicians, etc...
You could have people vote for the dummy of the week, month, year, etc...

you could provide articles about famous ventriloquist's and their "dummies".
show the history of the "dummy, puppets and other characters" and provide some history on the subject.
i think it would make for a better business model because you could sell a variety of products including, toys, puppets, posters, movies, videos, etc.
