I've kind of messed around with Photoshop and PSP but haven't had any luck. The text is set over a background image which I want to keep.
The image can be seen at peakenterprises.com
the text I want to replace is Company Name and Slogan, any help would be much appreciated.

yes
Well, you should be able to edit the text in the PSD file to whatever you like, then export to a JPG. If you cannot do this, you can email it to me with the text you want and I'll do it for you.
You can't change any of the text on the image. All you could do is to painstakingly take the time to fill in the text of the image with what should be on that image and then put text over that.
However if you have the PSD you can just open that in Photoshop and edit it in there without all the previous work.
A PSD has layers, which is why you can edit the image there. A plain jpg is one layer so changing one thing will affect the whole image.
ok got the psd into Photoshop and I am able to edit the layer to replace the company name. However it doesn't appear to change it. It still says Company Name on the template even though the layer is changed? Also is it possible to save out just the image that has been changed?
After you've changed the text go to file - save as web. then export the files as a webpage plus images. You'll find your image in there. One thing that could be happening is that the Company Name could actually be on two layers. Scroll through the list of objects (typically bottom right corner of photoshop) and see if you can see the Company Name text again. If so change that and you'll be all good.
You can do just one image. But it seems like you're just a beginner at photoshop and you need to learn a lot. I don't think it would be a good thing at this point to confuse you. Photoshop is a wonderful program but there's so much you can do it's easy to overwhelm you.
Got it worked out but still can't seem to change the font type.
