Feedback on Forum Idea - Askwomen.org

I bought askwomen.org a while back to help my wife start an online women’s forum. I don’t have any forum experience and the question I have always struggled with is how to jump start things to build up a critical mass of traffic. The idea I recently had is that in my ccTLD portfolio has about 200-250k unique visits per month that has extremely low RPM. My thought was to forward this traffic to askwomen.org and see if this traffic could jump start her forum. Admittedly this is very non-targeted traffic, but my thinking is that since the topic appeals to all women as well as men, perhaps if I throw enough XXXX against the wall something will stick. One concern I have however is that since this is international traffic English will not typically be there first language.

Does anyone opinions as to whether this strategy might work?

Seems if most of your other traffic is foreign speaking - then you would be spinning your wheels.
I do like the Idea for the forum though. I think even men would go on there to try and understand the other sex (GoodLuck!).
As for traffic - I have seen some people post on this site that they will pay people to come to their forums and post. Its an idea anyway - buy likely not what you really need. You should just develop it and start posting on various forums.
