First of it's kind experiment: Let's build an online business

Here it is:

Post a domain that you would like to see developed. You must own the domain and have control over it. We will all vote to see which domain will get the nod on April 1, 2003 (no fools joke) 11:00 A.M EST. ANY spammers (posting more than one link) will assure their domain is not selected. When you post your link, put a reason next to it why we should build this business.

Once the domain is selected everyone (who wants to) will be a part of it's development.

Planning sessions: Who will do what could be discussed via the chatroom, or right here on this thread. Everything from what products/services will be sold to when we should start can be discussed.

I realize we all have our own projects to work on, but I thought since we come here anyways why not at least look under the hood. No sense sitting around talking about how things work, lets try and put some of these ideas into action. Much could be learned from such a project.

There is no pressure here for anyone to do anything. Input will be gladly accepted. Donations, etc may be asked for as (seed money) to get the project going, but after such time the SITE will have to earn it's keep.

Whoever's domain is selected, that person will keep the business... They must agree to commit themselves in helping to at least build another site. Kind of like "Pay it forward"... I think we should all keep that in mind whichever domain we do select. We not only select the domain but the person too!! I'd like to see this take off, and the sure-fire way to kill this project is to select someone who isn't committed.

On that note: Post your domain. Ohhh.... NO prOn sites!! (sorry) Also if we don't get enough people to help (which is fine) we can always "discuss" what "could" be done with the site. My hope is we do get enough people who want to contribute to make a go of it.

I think it's a cool idea and could be a learning tool for many. Would be fun to watch the progress no matter who has the name.
Don't know if I have anything that would be fun, but I'll look. Lets see a few names from others. Hope this thing materializes Greg.

WebSnooper.com Just picked it up yesterday. Seems like a good search engine site. I have never developed a search site, so this would be a real learning experience for me. Could also be a spyware reseller site but I think the net might be saturated with those.

reasons? Well I was planning to do so myself, but i never get around to it since I get payed to develop other stuff.

Anyways, I thought it would be fun as a project. If I would want anything serious I would do it myself, since I know what I want

click.us sounds nice together click us and click is probably the third or fourth highest word that comes up in google,,,,

The search for FREE ANIMES on Google gives me 94,100 hits
