Most people are now going with PHP boards, but if you want a cgi (perl) board, I had one using discus that I was pretty pleased with. it's at discusware.com. The feature of it I like is the optional collapsible "tree view" that allows you to see the threaded replies in more of a usenet style similar to windows explorer, in addition to the way this forum shows them.
When you register, they send a custom install program for your host name making install fairly easy.
