Question Front Page Nav bar, changes after saving

    Hi Everyone,
I am really frustrated, been reading FP help for hours and repeating work for days.

I have a site with shared borders, within the left and bottom borders I have nav bars.
I go through my entire site, making sure all nav bars point where I want, and save the pages.
Once saved I go back and look, and the nav bars have changed.
Sometimes missing all together, sometimes pointing at the wrong level.

I have spent a week, on something that should have taken 2 days.

Here is a link to the site.

You can see there is no nav bar at bottom, there should be, I saved one there!

Also as another example, on the exercise equipment page, the bottom nav bar when saved pointed at the "child level", but after saving it now points at "same level"

I thought using nav bars would make my life easier, but I am really fed up.

Are you supposed to use a 12 lb sledge hammer to fix FP problems or a 20 Lb?

Any advise, suggestions or help , would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Scott

Those shared borders are more trouble than they are worth. I strongly recommend you ditch them in favor of includes. They are similar, but better, less buggy and more flexible (you can put them anywhere you want, even inside a table cell)

Create your include page and save it. Then go to Insert>Web Component>Included Content>Page and click finish. It will then pop up a browse form to find the include page.

Trust me, you'll like this much better, and you'll probably find a bunch more uses for it.

    Thanks Movie Domains,

I will give it a try.
Do you think the shared borders are affecting the Nav bar?
I am somewhat new to using nav bars and shared borders.

    Thanks again
    Scott

That would be my guess, though there isn't enough info to really diagnose it.
