Country: | Front Page vs. Dreamweaver vs. ? Looking for your thoughts on Front Page vs. Dreamweaver. In plan to invest in one of these programs and your guidance would be appreciated.
Are there any programs other than these two that you would recommend?
Thank you! |

Anyone have any feedback on this open source software? |

God bless these open source folks but NVU is cobbled together by a few guys in their basement in their spare time. You have no idea when this product will be updated or how long it will be supported.
If you want a product which is state of the art and is used by the most successful web sites (i.e. match.com, careerbuilder.com), you need to be using ASP.NET by Microsoft.
Why anyone would consider NVU over the FREE Visual Web Developer from the good folks at Microsoft is beyone me.

I understand that Dreamever is not a CMS and maybe I should have clarifed my earlier post. From what I have read Dreamever is the way to go for web development software.
However, I have read on other forums that for some basic sites, Wordpress can be used as a CMS. (Again basic sites.) I just wondered if anyone here had experience using Wordpress as a CMS. |

If you find you like to dev then buy dw. Don't mess with fp.
