Anyone know of where to go if I wanted a game website sorda like king.com? I'm looking for the software or someone to build

It appears as if all the games are written in Flash. A good resource to learn beginner Flash for games is NewGrounds. It may take you months to finally get the handle of Flash, if ever. I for one, couldn't.

Your best bet in easy and fast development is hiring a freelance Flash designer/programmer. A game could be customized or built specifically for you anywhere from as low as $50.

Good luck on whichever avenue you choose!

There are open source games that a flash developer could use as a base and just customize to your sites design. I've seen these being made for around $50. Though, a higher quality game would be expected for the price you’ve mentioned, $200.

Heh, So basically with say a 5k budget I could have 25 games....Wonder if elance would be a good place to look?

With a budget of 5K, I'd rather have 5 games of the highest caliber to keep people coming back rather than 25 "good" games. A good place to look for cheap freelance workers is IRC in the Flash channels. They typically don't ask for too much and don't give you too much grief. Just be sure to do everything escrow or make small payments through the development of the game.
