I have looked at several so far and found them wanting: Nuke/Postnuke, Zope, PHP ones. pmachine and Back-End may be possible candidates.
Can anyone recommend some suitable software?
Thanks ...

Lats...
Thanks for the replies.
I have already looked at opensourcecms, and found it difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff. Most OS offerings seem to have very poor documentation, and scant regard for ease of use. So I have considered writing my own, or getting someone else to do it - not an easy job though.
So far, Mambo is my favourite, but it doesn't do everything that I want.
I'm writing my own as well.
