both
both can be added but these won't be displayed on mobile phones as I understand, google adsense ads will be displayed only if site browsed from the "normal" computer![]()

I have google ads there, and there are hundreds of sites that waant to add ads throguh admob.com to the site, but at this point I removed mobile ads. Google adsense brings me about 2$ a day. Half of the visitors are not mobile
If they are on their mobile phone and click on one of your google links, can they see the ads that appear in the browser?

I can't wait Microsoft take on google adwords/adsense. MS is goona kill them, and it will happen soon. For us finally will be a choice to switch from adsense to somebody who pays more
I'd like to see at least three strong choices for serving ads on websites so they have to remain competitive with their payments to publishers. Pay per action and video ads will also help when they are fully rolled out.

Thinking MS will pay more doesn't make any sense at all.
MS isn't paying, the bidders on the advertising platform are.
There is no larger PPC advertising platform than AdWords.
Yahoo could be good but they can't seem to figure out how to show relevant ads so even though the per click rate is higher the CTR is much lower leaving you with a lower overall eCPM.
MSN AdCenter is a distant competitor in regards to number of advertisers using Adwords and Yahoo/Overture.
You can put adsense on a mobi site unless and until its against their terms.
I'd be surprised if it took off. My guess is mobile users will not have the tolerance to simply "surf" - many pay per Meg of data for a start - and the nature of being "on the move" means they will probably just want to go straight to a specific site they know has the info they want rather than trawl around image heavy pages that may or may not have what you want and cost time and money. If anything, I think Adsense could simply exacerbate the frustration issue and cause more people to not bother.
It strikes me that Web usage on phones will be very different to someone in front of a PC with time and no costs to worry about. I've browsed via my mobile several times and it gets very frustrating. I now just have a set of important bookmarks: flight times, trains, footy scores etc etc I use. It's rare I use search and surf. If I need something else and it's not obvious, it's cheaper and far quicker to "phone a friend"
Just a hunch - I could be proved wrong. Guess we'll see![]()
