Help with Ideas to Develop AlternativePaper.com

I tried to sell AlternativePaper.com and TheAlternativePaper.com (also have .net) on here, and didn't have any takers.

I would love to develop this but can't really come up with anything concrete.

Main thoughts:

1). The obvious is Alternative News of some sort. But to be honest, this could go so nice that I am not sure what niche that should be. Perhaps user generated content playing to a certain niche?

2). Apparently there is a market for Alternative Paper. I am not sure how lucrative this market is however. Although the domain might be worth something to companies in that industry.

3). I purchased it ahead of a rollout of a (now defunct) publication. You can imagine how many people decide to get into the publishing business under some sort of "alternative magazine" status. Perhaps this would be a good directory for alternative publications???

Anyway, it will be good to hear feedback, I have often thought of seeing what a group of college kids could do running with this domain.

The name could relate to many different ideas... My initial thought after reading your domain was it sounds like a name related to "building it green" or environment friendly. Building it green is a super hot topic in which activist for protecting our environment are makin' quite of bit of noise online... Perhaps you could blog about it. This topic could bore you, but the blogging idea for the domain is what I would do , unless your budget allows you more options...blogging is free, and serps love them. Good lluck with whatever you decide to go with.

Alternative lifestyle? (Gay / Lesbian / Bi)

Alternative news? (Non-mainstream, non-Reuters, straight from the source etc..)

Alternative (to) Paper? (Enviromental news, promotional?)

Alternative (rock) Paper? (Music news)

Toilet-Paper? That's a pretty weak surface perception of alternative-paper...really pretty silly. Think before you post sometimes and you can surprise yourself...but at least you want to help.

I appreciate the ideas, and hope you keep them comming. I do like the idea of blogging green news. Just putting up tons of green content (although its really not my thing, so finding others to continue the blog might be good).

Also had another thought, there are companies that specialize in printing on green paper, and also selling green office supplies. Could set up a system to obtain lowest quotes from these providers.
