Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!Ok, so I've recently picked up this site: http://www.ajaxwhois.com. It's a combination of Whois and domain search that offers live search for availability, every TLD in the world, and supports Chinese/Japanese/foreign characters as well.
I want to make this site into one domainers want to use. Tell me what your favourite services are right now (whois, domain search, etc.) and I'll look into integrating them to make a better site for all of us.

I write my own. Here's one for UK domains: http://www.droppings.co.uk/files/wuk.zip
The secret is really to get the information from a definitive source in real time. How you dress it up at the interface end will either make or break your site's popularity. Don't serve up cached results. This is difficult unless you take time with proxies etc.
