When you scroll down on that page I have an "aqua" color I cant get rid of it...
Not sure how it got there..I was working on the news scroller ..right hand side...
100 DNF to help me find that color code so I can snip it..
start by putting the at the top...
it maybe overwriting variables or seomthing..
also you have lots of
clean up the code a bit...
You mean it's a mess..
OK , I'll start there..
i would only have one head and keep all the missmash of javascript there or call it in as seperate .js files...
to start...!
or call them in as SSI or other inculdes or something..
all the best wilco
or pay someone to do a database system for you!!!
i would use coldfusion but there are plenty on here with lots of PHP wossname..

Yes, it's a mess; but for the time being, you may at least change the bgcolor to #ffffff:

/**/
<!--
BODY{ background-color:#99CCCC;}
P{color:#465d5c;margin:3px;}
A{color:#e86500}
Edit: Oops! Already Done?!

Did I say #ffffff? and NOT #000000!![]()

I am a perfect example "kids" of why you need to learn html from scratch..
It's just to easy to cut and paste...and then go back and fix bits of html that isnt working right...oh what a mess though..and I use FP2000 which dosent help matters either..
I know js is suppose to be a "no-no" but I love these little scripts.. a lot of useful tools ..
The main reason is because google cant read them! I say good.. If google cant read them then there is no penalty !Google cant determine one way or another if it's good or bad..so it's a neutral as far as Google's algo is concerned..
The very idea that SE's have problems with Js, flash etc.. is amusing..we the "webmasters" (I use that term very loosely in my case) are suppose to dumb down our sites and be text only so the se can read it ? huh?
I dont think so.. the se's need to expand their learning curve with the different coding that's out there..

Javascripts are fine as long as you don't "overdose".Originally posted by bidawinner
